BOOKS BY HARRY MORRIS

Harry and Christine at a recent book signing in KilmarnockRetired Strathclyde detective Harry Morris has published some books about his time in the police service. They are a great read, very humorous, and even include some stories about our very own Jim McNulty.

Harry is out to show a side of our police force that we don't often see; the lighter side. His time with the Glasgow and Strathclyde constabulary or "polis" for short, hasn't robbed Harry of his sense of humour. Every wily witness, cocky con, and sarcastic sergeant he ever ran up against is here in page after page of funny stories.

Full of hilarious anecdotes, oddball characters, quick comeback and unlikely excuses, his books show Glasgow humour at its finest. Every funny tale, tall or true, of Harry's twentynine year police career is here, and there's no shortage of laughs in these rib tickling stories from the rank and file.

Priced at £7.99 each , the following four titles are currently available from Black and White Publishing , Amazon , and all good book shops:

  • "Even the Lies are True"
  • "Even More Lies"
  • "Nuthin' Like the Truth"
  • "Ye're Never Gonnae Believe It"

Harry is a loyal supporter of COPS, and has made several donations from the sales of his books. If you would like to buy one of Harry's books, email Harry or visit his website at www.harrythepolis.com , and don't forget to mention COPS because Harry donates £1.00 to COPS for every book sold.

Harry tells us he is now on the lookout for even more funny police stories for his next book, and has offered a mention AND to donate £10.00 to COPS for any stories he uses. If you can help, contact Harry direct.
