We are enormously grateful to all our fundraisers and volunteers for not only helping to raise much needed money, but for continuing to raise
levels of awareness and bring COPS to suvivors who need our help. Thank you to each and everyone of you.
The first Volunteer Award for fundraising was presented in the summer of 2004, at the Annual Survivors Weekend in Lichfield.
2008 - Police Mutual
2007 - Leicestershire Constabularly
However there are some individuals and groups who we can't thank enough for their determination, steadfastness and hard work, and that is why we have
created the COPS Volunteer Award. This is either presented as a certificate, or where appropriate as a special engraved crystal award to notable fundraisers.

It was awarded to the Blue Knights (Scotland 1 Chapter) for managing to raise a staggering
£10,000.00 for COPS during that year. They were presented with a specially engraved crystal sword during the Saturday evening survivor's dinner.
Blue Knight Elaine Stewart, organiser of the Around Scotland Police HQ ride, can be seen
in the picture below, showing the sword to Strathclyde Chief Constable Willie Rae, and Strathclyde survivors
Susan Gibson and her daughter.

COPS President Christine Fulton said: "Everyone from the Police Authority, Federation, the Blue Knights, Retired Police Officers Association, the senior management and the survivors themselves, have been stalwart supporters of COPS from the beginning. A very well deserved award."
